With our greatest natural resource being the largest chain of lakes in the state, tourism will always remain an important calling card for attracting visitors interested in water sport activities. However, we now also boast more high speed internet and broadband options than any other community our size. Nearly 90% of our residents have up to five choices of technology providers with speeds up to 12.0 Mbps and 4G service coming in 2012. Three Lakes truly is the anchor for technology in the Northwoods. Add to that a top-3 library and a top-10 school district, and you will understand why encourage visitors to “come to play, but maybe just stay”.
